Welcome to the Hare Bhare School Abhiyan, a state-wide plantation initiative where we are planting trees in 53 government schools across 53 districts in Madhya Pradesh to boost green cover, enhance biodiversity, and help India inch closer to its carbon reduction goals by 2030.

The Power of Trees: How Much Carbon Can We Offset?
Did you know that a mature tree can absorb about 22 kg of CO₂ per year? Now, let’s do some quick math!
✅ If each school plants 50 trees, that’s 1,100 kg (1.1 tons) of CO₂ absorbed per school every year!
✅ If each school plants 100 trees, that’s 2,200 kg (2.2 tons) of CO₂ per school per year!
✅ Multiply that by 53 schools, and we’re looking at an estimated 116 to 233 tons of CO₂ offset per year!
That’s the equivalent of taking nearly 50 cars off the road every year or reducing the carbon footprint of about 300 people annually!
Now, imagine this impact growing year after year, as these trees mature and absorb even more CO₂. This is nature’s own carbon-capturing technology, and we’re planting it where it matters the most—right where the future generation learns and grows!
