We’re thrilled to share the highlights of our latest plantation drive at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) in Jabalpur, where we planted over 50 varieties of native fruit and shade trees! It was a day full of energy, smiles, and a strong sense of community as students, volunteers, and staff came together to make their campus a little greener.
The trees, which now line the areas around their playground, will not only provide much-needed shade but also nurture biodiversity and a healthier environment for everyone on campus. Watching the participants plant these trees with such enthusiasm was a reminder of how small efforts can lead to big changes in the fight for a greener planet.
What made this drive even more special was the collaboration with SAFMA (Social Action Forum for Manav Adhikar) , a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence, advocating for prevention, and creating safe spaces. We were honored to be invited by SAFMA to lead this event and work alongside such an impactful organization. Their dedication to healing communities extends beyond human welfare and into caring for the environment, which resonated deeply with our mission.
The smiles on everyone’s faces were proof of the positive impact we had, not just on the environment, but on the minds and hearts of everyone involved. This day at DNLU was a beautiful reminder that when we come together, we can create both greener spaces and a stronger sense of responsibility for the world around us.
